Mobile Speech Therapy in Ryde
The Speech Spot provides mobile speech pathology to families in Ryde, West Ryde, Denistone and the surrounding area. Rather than asking you to travel to us, our speech pathologists come to your home, daycare, preschool or school, or you can choose a telehealth session instead. It's the same evidence-based therapy, just without the drive.
How mobile speech therapy works in Ryde
We book a regular time that works for your family, then come to wherever makes sense, your living room, your child's daycare room, or their classroom. Sessions are planned around your child's actual routine and interests, so therapy fits into normal life rather than feeling like an extra appointment to get to.
Homes, daycares, preschools and schools we visit
We visit families across Ryde, West Ryde, North Ryde, Denistone, Denistone East and West, Marsfield, Macquarie Park and Meadowbank. If your child attends a daycare centre, preschool or school in the area, we're also happy to run sessions there directly, which can make it easier to see how your child communicates in a group setting.
Why Ryde families choose mobile therapy
For a lot of working parents, the biggest barrier to consistent therapy isn't the therapy itself, it's getting there. Mobile sessions remove that entirely, and children are often more settled and communicative in a familiar environment than they would be in an unfamiliar clinic. It also makes it easier to fit in siblings, nap schedules or after-school routines without reorganising your whole afternoon.
Telehealth if you're outside our visit radius
If you're a little further out than our usual mobile run, telehealth is a genuine alternative, not a lesser one. Sessions are run the same way, with practical strategies you can use straight away, just over video call instead of in person.
NDIS and funding
We accept NDIS-funded clients and no GP referral is needed to get started. If you're not sure how your plan applies to speech pathology, we're happy to talk it through before you book.
