Speech Pathologist
Maria is a dedicated and compassionate speech pathologist with who enjoys delivering engaging, play-based therapy that encourage confidence and motivation in children. She has worked with preschool and school aged children, as well as neurodivergent children supporting a wide range of speech, language and literacy goals.
Maria is passionate about fostering strong communication skills and equipping families with practical strategies to support their child at home. She believes children achieve their best outcomes when therapy is welcoming, enjoyable and collaborative.
Her key areas of interest include, phonological awareness, early language and literacy development. Maria speaks fluent English, however her cultural background is Filipino, which allows her to understand the importance of providing culturally responsive and inclusive support to families from diverse backgrounds.
Interests: Play-based learning activities, baking and art.
